Harry Bradley

Harry Bradley was born in Belfast in 1974. He discovered Irish traditional flute music through popular recordings of it and through exposure to the folk music of rural Co. Down during childhood holidays there. The vibrant 78 record heritage of the 1920s-30s America has had a huge influence on his personal playing style as have more contemporary exponents such as Seamus Tansey, Dessie Wilkinson, John Carty, Séamus Ennis and Paul O’Shaugnessy to name but a few. He moved to Galway in 1993 where he immersed himself in Irish music playing locally, nationally and internationally and recording for radio and TG4.
